Product Owner – In-House CRM Platform (m/w/d)

As Product Owner for Beehive, our in-house developed CRM and data platform, you’ll shape the central hub of our customer engagement. From campaign orchestration to automation and analytics, Beehive powers everything that drives our mission forward. You’ll work where tech meets purpose, helping us make smarter decisions and build systems that scale with our impact. You’ll collaborate with agile developers, internal stakeholders, and international colleagues to transform needs into scalable solutions and ideas into meaningful change.

As our Product Owner for BeeHive, you will:

  • Define the product vision for our CRM platform, aligning it with business goals and long-term strategy.
  • Own and manage the product roadmap, prioritizing features that enhance scalability, data integrity, and business value.
  • Translate stakeholder needs into clear and scalable technical solutions.
  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions, working closely with developers, architects, and stakeholders.
  • Act as a bridge between business and tech, ensuring smooth communication and delivery across countries and teams.
  • Champion performance and automation, always seeking opportunities to improve system reliability and user experience.
  • Keep BeeHive a high-performing, secure, and user-friendly platform that supports our growth and impact.

What we’re looking for

  • A Master’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field is a plus — but not required if you bring solid, relevant experience.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner, ideally with backend systems or CRM platforms.
  • Strong grasp of Agile practices and a track record of working closely with cross-functional development teams.
  • Ability to turn complex business needs into smart, scalable tech solutions.
  • Proven success delivering impactful software projects — ideally in international or multi-brand environments.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills — you're great at keeping teams aligned and moving forward.
  • You stay cool under pressure, tackle challenges with a solution-first mindset, and bring steady focus when things get fast-paced.
  • You think like an owner — proactive, hands-on, and driven to take ideas from concept to reality.

What you can look forward to

  • A meaningful job with the opportunity to shape positive social change.
  • We provide every colleague with a good foundation. In addition to your salary, you have the opportunity to take out a pension plan through us, which we subsidize.
  • We believe it is important for everyone to develop further. Through our Lottery Academy, we offer training and courses. There are also many career opportunities at home and abroad.
  • We enjoy having fun together. We regularly organize joint activities - including a well-attended monthly borrel - and our Christmas breakfast at the end of the year, where we proudly look back on what we have all achieved together.
  • Exercise keeps you fit and relaxation is good for you. That's why we offer our employees discounts at Fitness First, bike leasing, and Urban Sports Club.
  • We work closely with the organizations we support. Together, we visit the projects we support and meet the staff of the respective organizations.
  • We work in a modern building, just a few minutes' walk from Düsseldorf Central Station. We encourage everyone to use public transport. That's why you get a Deutschlandticket, which allows you to travel for free outside of working hours.

About us

Our concept creates a win-win situation: participants in the Postcode Lottery win great prizes, and non-profit organizations receive funding. At least 30 percent of our ticket revenue goes to projects in the areas of equal opportunities, social cohesion, and nature and environmental protection.

Deutsche Postcode Lottery is part of the Postcode Lottery Group, an international group with lotteries in 5 countries and a social purpose. Thanks to all participants, more than 14.5 billion euros have been provided for thousands of social and green projects since the first Postcode Lottery was founded in 1989. This makes us one of the largest private funders in the world. Together with more than 1,500 colleagues in the Netherlands, Sweden, the UK, Germany, and Norway, you contribute to a better world for people and nature every day!

The Postcode Lottery Group employs people of various nationalities and backgrounds. This makes us happy because diversity is an ideal breeding ground for creativity, innovation, and collaboration. It may be obvious, but we say it anyway: If you think you can make a valuable contribution to our organization, you are welcome here. Regardless of your origin, religion, age, work ability, or life philosophy.
